World University and School, like Wikipedia with MIT Open Course Ware, may target Android mobile internet devices with video, and group google chat for the conference method, - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Conference_Method_of_Teaching_and_Learning - as the bare minimum piece of equipment necessary to do a MIT OCW-centric Bachelor's degree via WUaS (at least for the first semester or two) ...  added this to the agenda for a recent, open WUaS Business Meeting - http://worlduniversityandschool.blogspot.com/2012/04/world-university-and-school-open.html.

MIT Professor Shigeru Miyagawa, a key faculty in developing MIT OCW since 2001, on the importance of incorporating media literacy into the curriculum ... http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/comparative-media-studies/cms-930-media-education-and-the-marketplace-fall-2001/video-lectures/personal-media/ ... (around the 14 minute mark) ... Developing media literacy will be important in The College at WUaS ... http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School ... with the first matriculating class in fall of 2014.

How best (and with most enjoyment for students), to study and measure, longitudinally, how students at WUaS will learn? Here's a NYT's article - http://mobile.nytimes.com/article?a=936153 - outlining some approaches that don't seem that fun, or reflective of developing joy in learning. WUaS - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/ - plans to accredit on MIT OCW requiring 32 courses for an undergraduate degree, so this body of OCW can focuss many approaches to longitudinal study.

... will look to add this article to Admissions at WUaS, to The College at WUaS, to Ph.D.s at WUaS as wel as the Medical and Law Schools at WUaS ... Medicine and Law already test a lot throughout careers, so perhaps here is some precedence (continuing education credits aren't a form of testing) for longitudinal study on WUaS's MIT-centric education ...

... Some longitudinal studies of what has been learned at WUaS will have something to do with ongoing generativity of graduates ... Measurements in the form of the testing suggested in the article seem so static, and not reflective of the ongoing conversation which learning seems to be ...
