Chameleons: Developing a virtual Harbin, Oculus Rift digital immersive goggles, Claude Monet-informed style, into interactive, and also realistic, 3-D, immersive environments, Ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy too (for group building as in OpenSim and Second Life, etc.) ... In developing a virtual Harbin

for the 2nd volume of my actual~virtual Harbin Hot Springs' ethnography (and big book project)

in something like the Oculus Rift digital immersive goggles,

see, too "Jamie Hyneman Tests the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Goggles" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKhp4H3DUwE).

I'm excited to explore developing a Claude Monet-informed style
{was inspired with this idea this time a few days ago by my MacBook Pro's laptop screen image of Monet's 'Waterlillies' :}

(and many other French impressionist styles, as well as California and digital ones)

into interactive, and also realistic

(in a variety of film-inspired ways, as well),

3-D immersive environments ... with {Harbin?} avatars (which will eventually have agency)

for ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy too (for group building as in OpenSim and Second Life, etc. ) ...

In a similar way to meditating in the Harbin warm pool, even as a part of field work {which I do quite regularly these days}, I see the building of this virtual Harbin as ethnographic field site as an opportunity to elicit a relaxation response meditation from one's own bath tub at home, for example, while visiting virtual Harbin {e-meditation or electronic meditation}.
