"What is this, a G+ for ants?"

The "new G+" seems to have dropped the support for more than two columns. So it's back to the bad old days of 50% gray horizontal space. Because clearly there is no better use for it.

Maybe google doesn't buy their engineers any good monitors, and so they haven't learnt about that whole 4k screen thing? But the old G+ at least gave me three columns.\

And how soon? :)

+Linus Torvalds don't you understand ... you're an engineer, you, of all people, should understand ... "Profiles in the new Google+ have been streamlined and simplified" ... I mean, streamlined and simplified... Who doesn't like streamlined and simplified ... Might as well say it's for morons, you'll like it.

Bah... might as well get started on the new stylesheet for G+ ... again.

I think, they think since they are in userspace, they are allowed to break things :P Hey Google, that's not true in UX either.

I just remembered the rant about Roboto from about 2-3 years ago :) Same shit again, and#whitespace too ...

Do you really mean that avatars might be dancing out of the screen and all over us, the world, holograpically even, speaking all 7,938+ languages from G+, Marim? What a mind boggling circle dance that will be! :)

The idea here could be a kind of Princess Leia projection, for example, as real virtual avatar ...

Avatar agency as defined by the Turing Test?

A totally fascinating possibility and scary too.

I'm excited for the time too when we may be able to code SQL (structured query language), for example, with VOICE and in multiple languages in Wikidata and beyond Google Voice and Siri ... which we will be even easier with brain wave headsets in the future, anticipating adding avatars of our imagining, without language or gestures.
