Dear Christine (MIT Dean),

Thanks for sharing information about your fascinating new research university. I enjoyed your recent SXSWedu video here about this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYlXObCah5Q (which I found on G+ here - https://plus.google.com/+DavidIng/posts/Vy8J7aqsCR2).

I want to let you know about CC World University and School, which seeks to accredit in California first (with WASC senior and BPPE) on CC MIT OCW in 7 languages and CC Yale OYC to offer free CC best STEM CC OCW online BA/BS, Ph.D., law and M.D. degrees to students in all nation states' official languages, but first in English, beginning with students applying this autumn 2016 and matriculating online in autumn 2017. WUaS on the one hand plans to create major universities in all 204+ countries' main languages, and on the other to create wiki schools in all 7,097+ languages for open teaching and learning. Students will basically be studying from their high school and college rooms in countries around the world.

WUaS has 10 main foci areas - Courses , Subjects, Languages (All), Nation States (All), You at WUaS, ResearchEducational SoftwareLibrary ResourcesMuseumsHardware Resource Possibilities planned in each of all 3000-8000 languages -

As an open wiki, WUaS is also planning to move soon from WUaS Wikia to WUaS MediaWiki to develop in CC Wikidata / Wikibase (a three year old database developed for CC Wikipedia's ~300 languages) with A.I., machine learning and machine translation software.

Having recently communicated with Cecilia d'Olivera, former MIT OCW executive director and now Associate Dean of online learning at MIT (and met twice with former MIT OCW External Relations Director Steve Carson in person in Cambridge, MA), WUaS is seeking to collaborate more fully with MIT itself. WUaS is also currently a "client" in a UC Berkeley Law "New Business Practicum" course to develop legally and financially as a Creative Commons' licensed 501 (c) (3) startup university.  As an outgoing Dean at MIT, I'm writing to inquire how and in what ways, if any, we might explore possibly collaborating further?

Thank you.

Best regards,
Scott
