Nambung National Park: Stanford Ed talk - Daring To Cultivate Dangerous Teacher Development, Harvard Graduate School of Education's Karen Brennan in a group video workshop which I find to be a great online model, "Theories of Learning" wiki subject at WUaS, the beginning "Philippines World University and School" and "Guatemala WUaS," both to become Harvards of the Web I hope, Physics and Quantum Physics WUaS, open hour-long WUaS monthly business meeting email list (conducted in the manner of Friends/Quakers - info@worlduniversityandschool)

Dear G, Janet, Kerri and Helen,

Thanks for your excellent Stanford Education talk today, G.

Daring to Cultivate Dangerous Teacher Development, by G. Reyes, PhD, Post Doctoral Scholar | Understanding Language and Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning, and Equity

How best to cultivate excellent teacher development online in multiple languages and countries, beginning with graduate student instructors from great universities and teaching to MIT faculty in video at https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/ and https://ocw.mit.edu/ to begin at - http://worlduniversityandschool.org ?

G & Kerri: Here's Harvard Graduate School of Education's Karen Brennan in a group video workshop which I find to be a great online model - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2016/05/sf-bay-salt-marsh-harvest-mouse-harvard.html. It's as another inspiration for me for such approaches to interactive, "conference method" (like at Reed College) teaching. Karen also teaches transforming education - https://twitter.com/karen_brennan

To give you an idea of how wiki World University and School works, I would/ we could add your talk today, G, if it becomes available, to the "Theories of Learning" wiki subject at WUaS - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Theories_of_Learning - and anyone can teach to this as well. MIT OCW-centric for-credit courses at WUaS (as CC WUaS accredits probably with WASC senior) will also emerge further here in this and many academic subjects - and in all countries' main languages, and after WUaS moves to a new wiki emerging from Wikidata (which is Wikipedia's 4 year old database written for its 358 languages and developing with AI, machine learning and machine translation).

And here are the beginning

Philippines World University and School, not yet in Tagalog  (and all other languages there as wiki schools)

Guatemala World University and School, not yet really in Spanish - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/spanish/ - (and all other languages there as wiki schools) -

And Helen, here are the

Physics

Quantum_Physics

wiki subjects at WUaS for open teaching and learning, and which will also have CC MIT OCW-centric courses & CC Yale OYC-centric for-credit in multiple languages.

And as a wiki, you could create a wiki subject for, for example, Particle Physics" ... in the main wiki Subjects page - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Subjects.

WUaS seeks to create the transformative Stanfords/MITs of the Web in all ~200 countries main and official languages, and wiki schools for open, transformative teaching and learning.

Thank you, G, for your inspiring talk and looking forward to communicating further with you all.

I'll add you to the open hour-long WUaS monthly business meeting email list (conducted in the manner of Friends/Quakers - info@worlduniversityandschool).

Thank you.

Best regards,
Scott
