El Ávila National Park: Potential MIT ODL / CC MIT OCW / MITx / CC WUaS (planned as major universities in all ~200 countries' official languages) strategic partnership, Venezuelan "Olympic" students to study CC MIT OCW for free university and high school degrees in Spanish, "What OCW has accomplished in the past 100 days," WUaS added A) a new CC MIT OCW free Microeconomics' course (Undergrad/Grad) in English in MITx on edX to B) its new http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Microeconomics wiki subject at WUaS

Dear Enrique, Cecilia, Anant, and Larry,

With the background I shared with you last Thursday (http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/04/strelitzia-mit-ocw-in-mitx-and-wuas.html), and in that WUaS is very CC MIT OCW- and CC Yale OYC-centric in planning for accrediting degrees, would it be possible please to develop sub licensing language with CC MIT OCW in MITx that allows MIT OCW / MITx / WUaS to scale in multiple languages in a strategic partnership/relationship, - and as WUaS proceeds with accrediting upon MIT OCW in 7 languages + ?

This potential MIT ODL / CC MIT OCW / MITx / CC WUaS (planned as major universities in all ~200 countries' official languages) strategic partnership would involve too embedding MIT OCW in MITx courses in WUaS's upcoming new wiki - perhaps as links in the WUaS course catalog / WUaS wiki subject pages, and perhaps even following this layout - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mitx-related-courseware/ - in a new WUaS wiki. Could this be done selectively with the MIT OCW into MITx? (And would it make sense to bring Berkeley Law Professor Molly van Houweling, Harvard Law graduate, and past president of Creative Commons into this conversation, as well - re CC in all its countries - vis-a-vis MIT OCW in MITx/edX in all its countries, and who may be in communication with the Wikimedia Foundation re WUaS's donation of WUaS to Wikidata?)

In CC WUaS's planned fundraising to seek donations from governments in all ~200 countries / +regions - if this could become 'standardized' using Yale's upcoming tuition of $51,400 as a benchmark per country's GDP - MIT ODL / CC WUaS could conceivably arrange in this strategic relationship a further alignment around financial questions. Enrique, as part of this fundraising aspect of this proposal, could you perchance see helping to seek out Venezuelan "Olympic" students to study CC MIT OCW for free university and high school degrees in Spanish, and fundraise too from various Venezuelan governments for this (or find someone in the Boston area to help with this)? (WUaS has a student, Rafael Araujo, who lives in Venezuela who might be able to help with this as well.) Courses such as this CC MIT OCW course is free in MITx - https://twitter.com/MITOCW/status/859072488613048322 (posted here yesterday - https://twitter.com/WorldUnivAndSch) - and could be for credit toward a university degree at WUaS (eventually in many languages) - which taken as part of WUaS's business degree in Spanish - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VRHhXYsk-V9lvSh5onaU2hnEhwoapSN7HyBK1P09LIk/edit?usp=sharing - could eventually greatly help the Venezuelan economy with graduates. And the Venezuelan government might be able to help with donations so WUaS could grow further a Venezuelan faculty in Spanish.

In exploring developing this MIT ODL / WUaS strategic relationship/partnership further (and after Cecilia's and WUaS's correspondence last year and this year), and after learning what the existing MITx sub licensing possibilities are, Enrique, WUaS would seek / need language that would allow WUaS to embed MIT OCW in MITx in WUaS's upcoming wiki emerging from Wikidata / MediaWiki and offer these courses in multiple languages for credit with grades. Would this be possible please - and re communicating potentially with WASC senior re WUaS accreditation and the Wikimedia Foundation?

What is the existing sub-licensing language for MIT OCW in MITx, with a question about possibly new licensing language that highlights the CC MIT OCW basis - and re CC WUaS and accreditation for university and high school degrees in many countries' languages?

Thank you.

Best, Scott
