Hottentot fig: amissin' Harbin ~ the valley and the waters, Can "fly over" Harbin's valley here - http://tinyurl.com/p62rpcg - Was able even to amble around the streets of M-town the other day in this same Street View, after "walking" the 4 miles down the road from the Harbin gate (2012 in Street View's Time Slider photos, where they also have some images from 2007) ... yet the "fly over" shows photos from this past 2017 year I think ... oh for ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy ... Still not soaking virtually in the Harbin warm pool yet in a digital bask from my bath tub, but I bet this will come ... That Harbin valley rollover/overview was a new kind of "News" for me, Giving a UC Berkeley Anthro talk on Harbin and perhaps avatars on F Feb 23 in the TSWG

Am amissin' the valley and the waters, Heartsong, Jaima!

How be you?

What? The actual or virtual Harbin? How are you?

I can "fly over" Harbin's valley here - http://tinyurl.com/p62rpcg - with a Windows' mouse with a scroller/roller on it (accessible from here - Visit the Harbin Gate here ~ https://twitter.com/HarbinBook?lang=en ) ... and was able even to amble around the streets of M-town the other day in this same Street View, after "walking" the 4 miles down the road from the Harbin gate (2012 in Street View's Time Slider photos, where they also have some images from 2007) ... and I added one of the photos of the Harbin Gate here re a kind of wiki process ... yet the "fly over" shows photos from this past 2017 year I think ... oh for ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy ...

That Harbin valley rollover/overview was a new kind of "News" for me (thanks to Google Street View ... "read all about it" ... "see it in the real time you add")  ... albeit a bit dated ... but was most current news about the state of the valley, in picture form, I had seen at the time :)

*

Xtra, Xtra read all about it - see it in Street View too - the whole place burned down to the ground in 2015 ... ;)

Have to think up an apt job name and description for this new kind of journalism too re singularity-ism :)
