We had a great time speaking with @kinderkiosk about how to create and support Makerspaces in schools!  Listen here now and RT with your thoughts on the discussion: https://bit.ly/2HHPwks  #TryMoreDiscoverMore

See, too:

Night-blooming cereus: Robotics for All - From Lego WeDo 2.0 to Scratch drag & drop programming to Mindstorms to internships, "Celebrating Scratch," World University and School seeks to create large number of internships in all 7,097 living languages ... Matriculated students from poor countries especially may get these Lego WeDo 2.0 and then Mindstorms EV3 robotics' kits in the mail, as part of a high school or eventually college degree program ... It's the makey-makey creativity in learning and play which ties this all together ... playing into internships ... (Connect this "ROBOTICS IN PEOPLE'S HOMES" with a realistic virtual earth - think Google Street View with time slider / Maps / Earth / Brain - and the creative, and even architectural, programming robotics' potential, is amazing)

Dear Marjorie,

Very nice to meet and talk with you afterward at your "The Children Are All Right Revisiting the Impact of Parental Migration in the Philippines" - http://events.stanford.edu/events/771/77143/ (http://aparc.fsi.stanford.edu/asiahealthpolicy/people/marjorie_pajaron) - and thank you for your excellent talk yesterday at Stanford.

Here are some wiki CC-4 MIT OCW-centric World University and School links related to what we talked about:

Philippines' World University and School -

The Tagalog language World University and School planned in Tagalog isn't yet made - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Languages - but you or I could begin it, Marjorie.

The open license for translating CC-4 MIT OCW is at the bottom here - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/

And these are the free CC-4 OCW resources from MIT with which to begin - https://ocw.mit.edu/.

World University and School would like to create an enormous number of academic jobs in the Philippines, as well as staff positions - as we seek to become the Stanford / MIT / Harvard of the Internet in each of all ~200 countries and their official/main languages. Do you know of anyone, or a consortium of Professors at the University of the Philippines who might be interested in growing this project?

These are all beginning schools, and WUaS hopes to move into a new wiki with the Wikidata "backend" database soon.

Looking forward to staying in touch about developing an online MIT OCW-centric University and high school for Bachelor, Ph.D., Law, and M.D. degrees, as well as I.B. - International Baccalaureate - diplomas, in Tagalog and other main languages in The Philippines

Thanks for your talk.

All the best,
Scott
